| The paleta is the front leg of the pig rather than the usual back leg (the jamon); these lovely nutty, melt-in-the-mouth slices are from a fully acorn-fed Iberico black leg pig, vacuum-packed and presented in an attractive card sleeve.(As with all our sliced meats, do bring the pack up to room temperature before opening so that it is easier to separate the slices - if you can't wait that long, you can hold the unopened pack under hot water for 30 seconds or so instead) |
