| Manzanillas are made in the same way as a fino, but because it is made near the sea, the humid, salty air affects the taste and gives it a fuller flavour, with notes of apple and straw and a nutty finish. Drink well-chilled as an aperitif with salted almonds or with tapas dishes such as prawns in garlic. |
