Spain produces a great range of wonderful marzipan-based sweets and cakes. We have Assortments of Marzipan and Turron, both the traditional hard, crunchy and the smooth nougat, as well as luxurious chocolate turron. If you’re looking for biscuits, we have a range of Polvorones, Spain’s much-loved almond biscuits and other pastries. The handmade Tortas de Aceite are traditional sugared, almond-covered or savoury biscuits from Seville containing extra-virgin olive oil, gentle natural aniseed and sesame seeds. Fantastic on their own or with a coffee; and the savoury ones with cheese.

A confectionery culture wouldn’t be complete without chocolate. We’ve selected some of the finest Spain can offer – crunchy chocolate coated almonds shaped like olives, and our favourites: award-winning chocolate-covered brandy truffle-filled fig bombons. If you want something a little different, may we suggest you try Spain’s rich, thick hot chocolate – traditionally enjoyed with churros, Spanish doughnuts. It’s just perfect for chocoholics everywhere!

Kumquats, figs, mulberries, blueberries and strawberries - the ripe fruits of the Spanish summer, made into delicious conserves with a hint of liqueur; and honeys with nuts, fantastic poured over ice-cream; the perfumed scent of orange-blossom captured in honey and a traditional terracotta honey jar with a wooden honey spoon filled with multi-flower mountain honey - for you to enjoy!

Or why not try our Membrillo - quince jelly - a classic Spanish product, great with cheeses such as Manchego but also with lamb and duck dishes and casseroles. Or luxurious Candied Chestnuts - Marrons Glace, and Chestnut puree, a speciality of Galicia.

Spain is justly famous for its almonds: we have a gourmet selection, caramelised, toasted, salted and sugared - winners of several Great Taste Awards.
